A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE GOES A LONG WAY

Before you choose.

Answers to the questions
that shape a good installation.

Speak to Butler Technik ↗
Should I choose an air or water heater?

An air heater warms the cabin directly through ducting. A water heater heats a coolant circuit that can supply heat exchangers, radiators or a calorifier, depending on the installation. Choose around the warmth and hot-water functions you need.

How much heating output do I need?

Start with the space, insulation, expected outside temperatures and how heat will be distributed. Maximum output alone is not enough to size a heater. Butler Technik can help match the heater and kit to your vehicle or boat.

Are vehicle and marine kits interchangeable?

Choose a kit intended for the application. Marine and vehicle installations have different component and routing requirements. Check the installation manual and ask for advice before choosing a kit for a boat.

Can I add a timer or phone control?

Many systems support additional control options. Compatibility depends on the heater version, communication protocol and harness. MultiControl is available in air and water variants; ThermoConnect also requires suitable coverage and a service plan.

Where do I find manuals and replacement parts?

Use our technical library to find documents by model. For parts, check the identification plate, fuel, voltage and part number, then follow the links to Butler Technik for current stock and purchase options.
